The space.

The beach

Real sand at the water's edge, Adirondack chairs, a fire pit for the cool nights.

The deck

Umbrella tables over the river, under the bridge. Freighters pass close enough to wave.

Inside

Garage doors open on nice days. Full bar, a walk-up window outside, a roof when it rains.

Eat and drink.

Food comes from the trucks, so the menu changes with the week. Wacky Walleye is stationed on site Thursday through Sunday; guest trucks join on weekends. The bar pours cold beer, seltzers and river-inspired cocktails.

  • About $10 to $20 a person
  • No reservations needed
  • Kids welcome; it gets louder after the DJ starts

Questions people ask.

When are you open?
May through the fall, Thursday to Sunday. Hours move with the weather, so the "Open today" card at the top and our Facebook page are the final word.
Can I bring my boat?
Yes. Tie up at the slips on the Black River, first come, first served.
Is it kid- and dog-friendly?
Yes, especially afternoons on the beach. Evenings with a DJ are more of a grown-up crowd.
Can I book it for a party?
Ask us. Birthdays, boat club nights and work outings have all happened here. Use the form below or call.
Is there parking?
A free lot on site. It fills on busy weekends, so boats and bikes are the easy way in.
Can I watch the freighters?
From the deck. The BoatNerd vessel passage page tells you when the next one is coming through.
